Freelancing
Our group was a bit late with starting the preparations for this class, which is why we needed to postpone our class. We divided the tasks in the group and this time everyone did more of their part. The activeness of our group varied a lot, one week everyone was texting and doing their things, and the week after there was a kind of radio silence. Eventually, we gave the class, we did an energizer and made some assignments for the students to do.
I think working together to organize this class was a lot better than with our crowd safety guest lecture, but a lot of improvement could still be made. The communication was very messy and also the division of the tasks and the concept of our class were not very clear. I think we should have done a reflection on our working together as a group, but unfortunately, we did not do a reflection.
Reflection
Unfortunately, during this Playground Session, I was absent because of illness. But I asked other students about this lecture and also read their presentation slides. I chose to write about reflection since I think it is very important because you will need it everywhere and every day. I do not think I learned something new in particular, but I got to dive deeper into the reflection and also got reminded of doing a reflection.
Even though I know reflection is important, I always tend to forget to reflect upon myself or the things I do. But when I do remember to reflect, I always reflect on myself, the event, or other types of products and also always ask others what they thought of the event or other products. In the future, I will try to reflect more, but I am still not quite sure what could help me not forget to reflect, so I think I need to figure that out first.
